This year’s conference focuses on quantum computation and information, which includes topics on quantum algorithms, quantum machine learning, and quantum information theory. We also welcome submissions in related areas such as quantum metrology, quantum communication, quantum matrials, and other emerging topics in quantum science and technology.

Theme's topics for SQST 2026:

  • Quantum computation and algorithms
  • Quantum machine learning
  • Quantum error correction and mitigation
  • Quantum information theory
  • Quantum computing related experiments

We also welcome parallel sessions in topics including:

  • Quantum metrology and sensing
  • Quantum commmunication
  • Quantum materials

Prepare Your Abstract:

Please submit either a short abstract (up to 200 words) with relevant references, or a 2-page extended abstract (2 pages can include a brief introduction and some results, excluding the list of references) prepared using the templates provided below. The 2-page extended abstract is strongly recommended for students who plan to apply for Oral presentations.

Template files can be downloaded here (Abstract Templates).

Oral Presentation Guidelines: (more detail will be updated closer to the date)

Oral presentations will be delivered in assigned conference rooms using a standard presentation setup (computer, projector, and microphone). Please prepare your slides in advance and ensure they are clear, well-structured, and visually engaging. Use concise text, readable fonts, and clear figures to effectively communicate your work within the time limit. Slides are preferable with 16:9 size ratio.

Presenters are kindly requested to arrive at their session room at least 10 minutes before the session begins to upload and test their presentation. A session chair will assist with timekeeping to ensure the program runs smoothly.

Poster Presentation Guidelines: (more detail will be updated closer to the date)

We will provide display boards for all poster presenters. Please ensure your poster is printed at a size of A0, in portrait (vertical) style, not larger than 90 cm (width) x 120 cm (height). The poster should include essential sections such as the title, authors, introduction, methods, results, and conclusions. Use large fonts and clear visuals to make your content easily readable from a distance. We recommend preparing a short 5 minute summary of your work to engage with the audience.

On the first day of the conference, you will get necessary materials to attach your poster to the board. You will be able to leave your posters throughout the conference.
